Since 2022 m. Sunrise Tech Park participates in the Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation and Edge Computing Innovation (AIOTI). The Alliance helps European businesses by working together on research and innovation in Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing, they also focus on setting standards and building ecosystems, which helps businesses to deploy these technologies and brings benefits to European society.
AIOTI events inform members about the IoT and edge computing applications in various fields of industry and services, help to find partners, and present their business. AIOTI organizes high-level events, such as the AIOTI Signature Event, which presents the scenarios and use cases of IoT-based business to address energy shortages, reduce CO2, support the circular economy, and address other pressing issues. Representatives of Sunrise Tech Park participate in AIOTI working groups dedicated to ecosystems, green transition, manufacturing and energy issues.
The membership of Sunrise Tech Park in AIOTI is funded by the Lithuanian Research Council through the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility under the national plan “New Generation Lithuania” and the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
