Since 2017 Sunrise Tech Park is a member of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME (Confédération Européenne des Associations de Petites et Moyennes Entreprises) which in Brussels-based business confederation counting 14 European associations of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) among its members, with approx. 600.000 enterprises. The confederation represents the interests of SMEs of various sectors in the EU institutions, prepares joint positions and provides consultations on EU policy issues relevant to business.
The Confederation actively participates in project activities, implementing Erasmus+ and European Horizon projects aimed at strengthening its members’ skills and competencies. Sunrise Tech Park together with the Confederation in joint projects such as Net0 Manager. Participation in joint projects, trainings, European-level SME events strengthens the capabilities of Sunrise Tech Park ecosystem, facilitates finding partners, and attracts new knowledge and innovations that support SMEs’ digital and green transitions.
The membership of Sunrise Tech Park in the Confederation of European Entrepreneurs is funded by the Lithuanian Research Council through the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility under the national plan “New Generation Lithuania” and the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
